Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Casimiro Ugutz sent off a good shot on target. When Axel Tasis fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Axel Tasis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Tasis to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute, Casimiro Ugutz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nouvelle Vague fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. When Eliseo Noboa fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Eliseo Noboa a yellow card for diving instead. Nouvelle Vague's Anselmo Dracena was substituted for Efrain Cordarius. In the 18th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Casimiro Ugutz took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. After 23 minutes of play, Nouvelle Vague's Casimiro Ugutz made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Casimiro Ugutz had several of the Costa Rica's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 27 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-0 score and a disappointed Benito Sanz as he didn't even see the shot coming. Nouvelle Vague's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Casimiro Ugutz in the 32nd minute. Hugo Villaverde made a great header on Nouvelle Vague's corner, it was just that Costa Rica's Benito Sanz managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Nouvelle Vague booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute, Nouvelle Vague's Casimiro Ugutz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Casimiro Ugutz sent off a good shot on target. 40 minutes into the game, Casimiro Ugutz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Casimiro Ugutz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 7-0. Casimiro Ugutz took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

56 minutes into the game, Nouvelle Vague's Casimiro Ugutz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. In the 62nd minute, Efrain Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Ugutz in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute Casimiro Ugutz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casimiro Ugutz took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Luis Henrico took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Luis Henrico might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Henrico ran back to his position shaking his head. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Henrico, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 78th minute Luis Henrico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Luis Henrico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Renato Corrêa in the 94th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Nouvelle Vague players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
