Club Ibiza's Rene Higuita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Mccarthy in the 26th minute of play. Canada's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Koby Wright in the 27th minute. Rene Higuita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koby Wright, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 1-1 became the score in the 36th minute when Koby Wright elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Rene Higuita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Mccarthy in the 41st minute of the match. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Ibiza's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Koby Wright was slow to take the kick. During this time Canada's players had a chance to rest. With an all-out effort, Canada's Rene Higuita threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Filip Edwards, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jax Williamson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kazuo Koriotto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Kazuo Koriotto sped through Canada's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jax Williamson. The Club Ibiza support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
