The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Fernandino got free with Artzai Teresa in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Moises Fernandino came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Fernandino couldn't finish the play. In the 30th match minute, Boiro C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliverios Jofre to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Abram Luque got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. El Salvador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Fernandino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Boiro C.F. getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Unai Obis hit a great ball. Artzai Teresa came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by El Salvador's Moises Fernandino. But to his dismay, Moises Fernandino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The audience was convinced that Moises Fernandino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artzai Teresa was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. If Nel Vadillos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Magrina kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Moises Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artzai Teresa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abram Luque's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Boiro C.F.'s Artzai Teresa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Fernandino in the 65th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moises Fernandino in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artzai Teresa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 71 minutes into the match, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artzai Teresa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Sierra got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the game, Valentino Ferrant was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boiro C.F.'s Igor Sierra got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
