Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Hortêncio Mandrak recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Hortêncio Mandrak showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Osvaldo Neto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 14th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 15th minute, Hortêncio Mandrak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Natanael Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Osvaldo Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 32nd minute of the match. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 38 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dennis Roelfs. The referee felt a red card was in order, 40 minutes into the game, when Anísio da Rocha put in a rough tackle. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for EDI MZB! 45 minutes into the match, EDI MZB's Ma Lang Liang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dennis Roelfs was the one to do the kick off. Dennis Roelfs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
