Wilhelm Cane hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luca Espinar in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ronny Blom saved Hermanö Oilers from getting behind. Ronny Blom was a little too slow when Moises Tafalla got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 16th minute Moises Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Blom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Nordström kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Anders Thedin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronny Blom was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edmundo Espiga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Espiga got free with Ronny Blom in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ronny Blom made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Milagros Cabal sent off a good shot on target. When Hermanö Oilers's Wilhelm Cane in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Honduras's goalie prevented a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Hermanö Oilers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anders Thedin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rickard Westerberg got his second yellow card in the match during the 92nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Ronny Blom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Honduras fully deserved thier win.
