Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fred Ferreira kicked off to start the match. If Luka Modrić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 6th minute of play forced Corumbaense F.C.'s goalkeeper Luís Eduardo dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Eduardo dos Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of play forced Corumbaense F.C.'s goalkeeper Luís Eduardo dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Corumbaense F.C.'s zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Eduardo dos Santos came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Fred Ferreira sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute of the match, Vânderson Camargo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Eduardo dos Santos having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Vânderson Camargo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 1-0. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Eduardo dos Santos having to interfere. In the 36th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Eduardo dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Fred Ferreira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Natã Leite's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Natã Leite helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute, Natã Leite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Eduardo dos Santos. Corumbaense F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Corumbaense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Luís Eduardo dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 52nd minute Vânderson Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Corumbaense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Luís Eduardo dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Eduardo dos Santos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Luís Eduardo dos Santos in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Natã Leite hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Eduardo dos Santos. Luís Eduardo dos Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Luís Eduardo dos Santos firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Corumbaense F.C.'s Luís Eduardo dos Santos got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juan Sebastián Puig made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Corumbaense F.C.'s Luís Eduardo dos Santos managed to reach the ball for a save. After 75 minutes Corumbaense F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After 76 minutes of play, Corumbaense F.C.'s Vânderson Camargo made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Eduardo dos Santos having to interfere. With a little luck, Corumbaense F.C.'s Luís Eduardo dos Santos got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Luís Eduardo dos Santos to make any attempt to save it. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vânderson Camargo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
