Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Geraerts in the 5th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Ingelbert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Abel Van Den Wijngaert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Sem Roekeloos sent off a good shot on target. 17 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sem Roekeloos. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Geraerts in the 20th minute of the match. When KV Schoonwater's Abel Van Den Wijngaert in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joachim Wiggers was slow to take the kick. During this time KV Schoonwater's players had a chance to rest. Daniel Ingelbert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. After 30 minutes, Abel Van Den Wijngaert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KV Schoonwater and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th match minute, KV Schoonwater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Van Den Wijngaert to maneuver through the defense. After 31 played minutes KV Schoonwater got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Tielemans. 33 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pino Van Hinnendaels. If Abel Van Den Wijngaert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Van Den Wijngaert in the 37th minute of play. Sem Roekeloos kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Ingelbert came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Abel Van Den Wijngaert made the kick off in the second half. Abel Van Den Wijngaert might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abel Van Den Wijngaert ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 52 minutes, Refael De Boeck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KV Schoonwater's supporters crossed their fingers, but Refael De Boeck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Van Den Wijngaert in the 58th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Joachim Wiggers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Refael De Boeck's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Refael De Boeck helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th minute, Abel Van Den Wijngaert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The supporters of Venezuela booed when KV Schoonwater was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernt Tielemans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Ingelbert was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Tomas Illescas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomas Illescas really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. After 72 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. 81 minutes into the match, KV Schoonwater's goalkeeper Daniel Ingelbert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Daniel Ingelbert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Sven-Edvin Viklund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. KV Schoonwater made a substitution. Philipp Stuijckens replaced Sem Roekeloos. The crowd rose to their feet as Venezuela's Patricio Costa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Daniel Ingelbert. That made the score 3-3 after 89 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 94th minute of play forced KV Schoonwater's goalkeeper Daniel Ingelbert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
