Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) When Harvey Doyle fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curacao's protests and gave Harvey Doyle a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Curacao's Harvey Doyle got a free kick in the 4th minute. If Turo Vapamaa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute, Lochlan Newman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 12 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Charles Cox. In the 13th minute, Turo Vapamaa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julius Wallen hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turo Vapamaa in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Turo Vapamaa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fc Pehmeät Jänikset fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Turo Vapamaa in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Barrett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Turo Vapamaa came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Kalervo Rontti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Turo Vapamaa in the 31st minute of play. In the 40th minute, Turo Vapamaa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Fc Pehmeät Jänikset's Kalervo Rontti got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 43 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Troy Kennedy. After the first half Fc Pehmeät Jänikset were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Bruno Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aatu Viinikainen in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Fc Pehmeät Jänikset's Turo Vapamaa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. 60 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Turo Vapamaa came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Curacao's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Turo Vapamaa 62 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Turo Vapamaa in the 69th minute of the match. Aarne Varis's late challenge caught a Curacao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aarne Varis helped the player get up and apologised. Aarne Varis kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Turo Vapamaa came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Turo Vapamaa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bruno Barrett. That made the score 0-8 in the 77 minute of play. In the 80th minute, Curacao's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kalervo Rontti fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 82 minutes into the match, Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kalervo Rontti. Kalervo Rontti did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-9 to the left of a surprised Bruno Barrett 84 minutes into the match. After having played for 98 minutes, Samuel Saarelainen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Pehmeät Jänikset's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Saarelainen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fc Pehmeät Jänikset's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
