Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Edmondo Bracco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NewDip F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmondo Bracco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7th minute, Tomas Illescas made a precise shot to the right of Frank Di Giandomenico. NewDip F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After having played for 13 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A throw-in in the 15th minute of the game was made by Fabio Nobili with Fulvio Piermattei as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. If Aldo De Marchi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmondo Bracco in the 18th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Edmondo Bracco sent off a good shot on target. When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to NewDip F.C. getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Anthony Stefano hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmondo Bracco in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 39th minute of play forced NewDip F.C.'s goalkeeper Frank Di Giandomenico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind NewDip F.C.'s goalkeeper Frank Di Giandomenico, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 42nd minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Di Giandomenico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmondo Bracco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 45 minutes, Edmondo Bracco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NewDip F.C. and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Venezuela booed when NewDip F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmondo Bracco didn't get a good kick on the ball. The NewDip F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Venezuela were winning 1-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmondo Bracco made a kick off. If Edmondo Bracco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmondo Bracco, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. NewDip F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Tomas Illescas scored to the left of an out of position Frank Di Giandomenico, making the score, 1-3. Frank Di Giandomenico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Di Giandomenico having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Anthony Stefano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NewDip F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Frank Di Giandomenico made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to NewDip F.C. getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Armando Guadagnoli hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Edmondo Bracco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NewDip F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frank Di Giandomenico having to make a save. The supporters of Venezuela booed when NewDip F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Guadagnoli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Di Giandomenico made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. After 93 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. Aldo De Marchi's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aldo De Marchi helped the player get up and apologised. Aldo De Marchi hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Edmondo Bracco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The NewDip F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Venezuela's performance. The match ended with a win for Venezuela.
