Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Lacasa to make the kick off. When the match had been going on for 53 minutes Mariano Lacasa shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Candido Piedra when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Candido Piedra successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Henk Everts hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Altermundi FC made a substitution. Justo Zubicueta replaced Visen Allu. The supporters of Chile booed when Altermundi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henk Everts didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 79th minute of play forced Altermundi FC's goalkeeper Candido Piedra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Chile's Candido Piedra threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Orlando Casaus, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Mariano Lacasa came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet.
