Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilgot Palmquist having to interfere. Vilgot Palmquist made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Almqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Luca Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vilgot Palmquist. Övertorneå RK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luca Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vilgot Palmquist. Luca Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Vilgot Palmquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Övertorneå RK's goalkeeper Vilgot Palmquist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Gökcan Hürmetli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Övertorneå RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Gökcan Hürmetli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Mexico booed when Övertorneå RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Matthew didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saverio Matthew to strike the kick off in the second half. Olov Almkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olov Almkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Övertorneå RK's Olov Almkvist got a free kick in the 61st minute. Vilgot Palmquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 64th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Lautaro Mancebo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vilgot Palmquist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Harry Almqvist succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 70th playminute. In the 75th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. 76 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Matthew came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pelle Sillén kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Vilgot Palmquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 唐宁峰 hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Joel Gaona took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vilgot Palmquist. Övertorneå RK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Luca Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vilgot Palmquist was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. In the 89th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Övertorneå RK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Luca Rouco sped through Övertorneå RK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vilgot Palmquist. Saverio Matthew received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
