Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Patrick Galvão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patrick Galvão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by West Staines Massive's Patrick Galvão. But to his dismay, Patrick Galvão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Abel Carballo charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Carballo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Abel Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Helmuth Follmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Weniger in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 21st minute. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Wei Hong Ning kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. The supporters of West Staines Massive booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wei Hong Ning recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 31 minutes of play, West Staines Massive's Michael Weniger made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wei Hong Ning took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wei Hong Ning in the 37th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Dan Rowell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wei Hong Ning's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. In the 44thth minute of the game Wei Hong Ning who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half West Staines Massive were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Benito Sanz was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Wei Hong Ning capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wei Hong Ning really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. Wei Hong Nings short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 59th minute, Dan Rowell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wei Hong Ning got free with Benito Sanz in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wei Hong Ning in the 62nd minute. With his leg Benito Sanz managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when West Staines Massive's Wei Hong Ning fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Weniger in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Juan Rubio got a free kick in the 69th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Helmuth Follmann came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Wei Hong Ning ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-12. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Weniger in the 84th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Michael Weniger made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-14. 94 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wei Hong Ning. Dan Rowell struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for West Staines Massive. West Staines Massive made a substitution. Yuan Qi replaced Moses Bardhan. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wei Hong Ning showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-15 in the 98 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded West Staines Massive left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Costa Rica.
