Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Peep Pronk started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Maurício Bomba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peep Pronk's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. AC LeX Luthor's Maurício Bomba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milagros Fraga in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Peru's Moises Gayoso got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 18 minutes, Emmanuel Reyes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Peru and the AC LeX Luthor players grew even worse after the yellow card. The goalkeeper, Rolando Noboa, was totally fooled by AC LeX Luthor's Silvestre Semeno, who 19 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Maurício Bomba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Emmanuel Reyes hit a great ball. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Peep Pronk kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rolando Noboa. That made the score 2-1 in the 40 minute of play. After 44 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Alvarado. When AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peru's goalie prevented a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Bomba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute of the game Efraim Gilabert made a throw-in which Milagros Fraga played forward. 59 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goalkeeper Maurício Bomba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peep Pronk in the 71st minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AC LeX Luthor made a substitution. Zeledon Savion replaced Pancho Branca. Silvestre Semeno made in the 73rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Julian Murillo scored 2-2 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maurício Bomba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Alvaro Errando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Luz Tejedor notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of AC LeX Luthor's Maurício Bomba. Maurício Bomba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. 96 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Savion came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Peru eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
