After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Ümit Daman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Ümit Daman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andy Garcia was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Ignacio Mastache capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ignacio Mastache really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. In the 92nd minute, Ignacio Mastache reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Andy Garcia. The goal made the score 3-3. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ümit Daman, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
