Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Francisco Seco made the kick off which started today's match. When Uruguay's Francisco Seco in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fc Otelul Galati's goalie prevented a goal. After 5 minutes Fc Otelul Galati's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaime Cazalla who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Jaime Cazalla got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nicodim Iacobeanu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Alin Teodorescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Alin Teodorescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the match, Fc Otelul Galati's Alin Teodorescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 19 minutes into the game, Alin Teodorescu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. Alin Teodorescu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Camilo Covarrubias hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Francisco Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Alin Teodorescu put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. When Florian Penc in the 30th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Joaquin Gayoso kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 3-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Alin Teodorescu in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nicodim Iacobeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Fc Otelul Galati's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Nicodim Iacobeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39thth minute of the game Francisco Seco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fc Otelul Galati's Nicodim Iacobeanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Fc Otelul Galati booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicodim Iacobeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 48th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Camilo Franco hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, Fc Otelul Galati's goalkeeper Nicodim Iacobeanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. Maximiliano Escribano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Nicodim Iacobeanu made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Florian Penc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Florian Penc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Fc Otelul Galati's Nicodim Iacobeanu got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alin Teodorescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the game, Lars Schuster was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fc Otelul Galati's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uruguay the free kick. Lars Schuster hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Uruguay's attentive Alberto Gisbert managed to snatch the ball when Ion Ailincai made a throw-in in the 75th minute of the game. Francisco Seco in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nicodim Iacobeanu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Basarab Chelbea hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Francisco Secos short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Nicodim Iacobeanu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ion Ailincai hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Francisco Seco came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Nicodim Iacobeanu could save by the left post. The Fc Otelul Galati support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
