Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Naranjo in the 11th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Angelino Miro notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Coslada Juniors's Irinel Vărzaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 22nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Coslada Juniors's zone, Abraham Alguacil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Irinel Vărzaru came out of the goal and Abraham Alguacil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Naranjo hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Many of Panama's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Panama may have spent more time on the ball, but Coslada Juniors were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
