After a rather tough play, Menchu FC's Epifanio Mirande got a free kick in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafino Aguilera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Siro Eufemio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Facundo Cadaval got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 17th minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Serafino Aguilera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Serafino Aguilera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 23rd minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Serafino Aguilera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 29 played minutes Menchu FC got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Mirande. Menchu FC's Serafino Aguilera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 32nd minute of play. Joel Gaona scored 0-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serafino Aguilera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 41 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Serafino Aguilera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Aguilera having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Siro Eufemio was the one to do the kick off. Roque Rivero hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Joel Gaona took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Serafino Aguilera to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 59th minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Serafino Aguilera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serafino Aguilera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 64 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serafino Aguilera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Serafino Aguilera made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. 67 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Serafino Aguilera, 0-6. Menchu FC made a substitution. Roberto Gorri replaced Edgard Baldovino. In the 78th minute, Joel Gaona reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Serafino Aguilera. The goal made the score 0-7. 81 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goalkeeper Serafino Aguilera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Serafino Aguilera made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. A well done corner resulted in Luca Zorita drilling the ball in to score 0-8 behind Menchu FC's goalkeeper. Serafino Aguilera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Gaona in the 90th minute. Joel Gaona was extremely unlucky when he, in the 94th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
