Roberto Pato took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The JFSP fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when JFSP's Roberto Pato looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. After taking down the ball on JFSP's corner Luciano Coutinho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. Moisés Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 40th minute of play. A collision led to JFSP getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Hamílton Alagoano hit a great ball. In the 45th minute of the match Tomas Illescas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Moisés Novaes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roberto Pato made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, JFSP's Roberto Pato nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1.
