Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lucero Mezquita got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute of the game Oscar Valdivia made a throw-in which Roberto Peto played forward. 4 minutes into the match, Sperides's goalkeeper Hibai Olano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hibai Olano having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Peru's Hibai Olano threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Murillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 22 minutes into the game, Jakub Kiwior was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sperides's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. The supporters of Peru booed when Sperides was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakub Kiwior didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julian Murillo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hibai Olano came out and tried to block the shot, but Julian Murillo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 23rd minute. Sperides's Hibai Olano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Sperides from getting a goal against them. Peru's Eliseo Mina got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 33 played minutes Sperides got a freekick which was hit by Pablo-Enrique Lopez. 35 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hibai Olano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hibai Olano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hibai Olano prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Sperides's Adriano Santalla was substituted for Henning Valler. Sperides made a substitution. Polifemo Morales replaced Xaime Fabelo. The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. Hibai Olano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Milagros Fraga might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hibai Olano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Milagros Fraga ran back to his position shaking his head. Milagros Fraga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hibai Olano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. After 81 played minutes Sperides got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Santalla. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
