Ye Sang hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, G.D Vitória de Sernache's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Guilherme Prada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, G.D Vitória de Sernache's Lúcio Lamego got a free kick in the 17th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Mista in the 19th minute of play. Dionisio Frasco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Mista in the 22nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Venegas charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Venegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Guido Mista took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 32nd minute, Valentim Torcato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the game, Jose Correa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave G.D Vitória de Sernache the free kick. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 34th minute. After 35 minutes of play, G.D Vitória de Sernache's Guido Mista made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Guilherme Prada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Dionisio Frasco sent off a good shot on target. 42 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ye Sang came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute Guido Mista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Andrzej Leper hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Paras Burr took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Guido Mista might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guido Mista ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 59th match minute, G.D Vitória de Sernache was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionisio Frasco to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute Dionisio Frasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Guilherme Prada was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of G.D Vitória de Sernache booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70 played minutes, G.D Vitória de Sernache's Paras Burr shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in G.D Vitória de Sernache reached it. Tomas Illescas in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Guilherme Prada, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Mista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by G.D Vitória de Sernache's Guido Mista. But to his dismay, Guido Mista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. 84 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Frasco came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilherme Prada having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionisio Frasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 91st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Mista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
