Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nicanor Parra made the kick off which started today's match. Soriano Espiñeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After 6 minutes Navalito's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Soriano Espiñeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Soriano Espiñeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Primitivo Andino fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Primitivo Andino a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 26th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Nicanor Parra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Navalito's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicanor Parra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Nicanor Parra came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Navalito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicanor Parra couldn't finish the play. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Navalito's goalie prevented a goal. Soriano Espiñeira came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Agustín Saelices. But to his dismay, Agustín Saelices quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ecuador fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Gustavo Caicedo in the 42nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Nicanor Parra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 57th minute Nicanor Parra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Gustavo Caicedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Gustavo Caicedo ran back to his position shaking his head. Navalito made a substitution. Clemente Esquerra replaced Faustino Huaiquiman. Isidoro Young recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Young in the 73rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Isidoro Young stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Isidoro Young tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 78 played minutes Navalito got a freekick which was hit by Nazario Urtubia. In the 79thth minute of the game Isidoro Young who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Navalito's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Soriano Espiñeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Navalito's Enric Mira got a free kick in the 84th minute. Isidoro Young blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Young in the 87th minute of play. Primitivo Andino hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Young came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
