Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerónimo Molina in the 23rd minute of play. Chile were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Altermundi FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariano Lacasa took the corner. Altermundi FC's Candido Piedra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Altermundi FC from getting a goal against them. In the 34th match minute, Altermundi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Reyes to maneuver through the defense. Mariano Lacasas short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Candido Piedra to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Altermundi FC's Candido Piedra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 41st minute of play. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Candido Piedra made a huge save. Candido Piedra came out of the goal and Orlando Casaus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Visen Allu kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 57thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Chile's keeper Thiago Pliego was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 58 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Candido Piedra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59 minutes, Gerónimo Molina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Altermundi FC and the Chile players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th minute, Gerónimo Molina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerónimo Molina, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Altermundi FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
