After taking down the ball on Penny lane F.C's corner Samuel Jonsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. In the 11th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaroslaw Bako saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaroslaw Bako took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Valentin Lain kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. Jaroslaw Bako showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 40 minutes in the game Felix Montes did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Felix Montenegro. Penny lane F.C's Jaroslaw Bako played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 42nd minute of play. If Valentin Lain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Penny lane F.C's Samuel Jonsson got a free kick in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 47th minute of play forced Penny lane F.C's goalkeeper Jaroslaw Bako to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Luis Andino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jaroslaw Bako in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valentin Lain stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Cristian Sancho had to leave the field with a concussion. Roth De Cuéllar charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roth De Cuéllar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ecuador's Diego Mancebo was substituted for Cristian Sancho. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Penny lane F.C to leave the ground with a draw.
