Acácio Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Acácio Zonta having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, WMWILD1983FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Acácio Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Acácio Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of play. Acácio Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of the match. Acácio Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Acácio Zonta quite easily take care of the ball. 29 minutes into the match, WMWILD1983FC's Isaltino Mendes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ke Jun Zhen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute of play forced WMWILD1983FC's goalkeeper Acácio Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye WMWILD1983FC's goalie prevented a goal. Acácio Zonta came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Acácio Zonta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoni Solecki in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd match minute, WMWILD1983FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by WMWILD1983FC's Antoni Solecki. But to his dismay, Antoni Solecki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Acácio Zonta made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by WMWILD1983FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but WMWILD1983FC's Acácio Zonta did a great save. 71 minutes into the match, WMWILD1983FC's goalkeeper Acácio Zonta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Acácio Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaltino Mendes in the 77th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Acácio Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the match, WMWILD1983FC's goalkeeper Acácio Zonta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 89thth minute of the game Isaltino Mendes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ecuador played a much better game than WMWILD1983FC and deserved their victory. The WMWILD1983FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
