Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Severo Laurgain's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. 5 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Laurgain came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Social y Dep. Patagonia's Severo Laurgain was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 6th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Santos Felipillo had several of the Costa Rica's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 9 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Benito Sanz as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 11 minutes, Alan Moruga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Social y Dep. Patagonia players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Laurgain in the 12th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Social y Dep. Patagonia got a freekick which was hit by Severo Laurgain. 23 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severo Laurgain. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Laurgain in the 26th minute of play. After 29 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. In the 30th minute of the match Modesto Lehen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz skillfully saved the ball. The throw-in from Efrain Moruga in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Social y Dep. Patagonia's Apolo Enaut. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severo Laurgain's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 36th minute, Efrain Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Social y Dep. Patagonia's Kazimierz Oliszewski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Efrain Moruga, made in the 40th minute of the game. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Laurgain in the 49th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severo Laurgain made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Efrain Moruga during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 54 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. 55 minutes into the game, Severo Laurgain cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Severo Laurgain blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severo Laurgain in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Severo Laurgain sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Social y Dep. Patagonia made a substitution. Lázaro Gau replaced Anastasio Jaen. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Natalio Mergildo sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. After having played for 78 minutes, Natalio Mergildo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Social y Dep. Patagonia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natalio Mergildo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 80 minutes into the game, Social y Dep. Patagonia's Natalio Mergildo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. After 83 minutes of play, Social y Dep. Patagonia's Natalio Mergildo made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Social y Dep. Patagonia's Natalio Mergildo. But to his dismay, Natalio Mergildo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Natalio Mergildo put it in 11-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz.
