Elias Batista did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Julio Vera 18 minutes into the match. Elias Batista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. After 30 played minutes ContraVersão got a freekick which was hit by Walery Adamowicz. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Didi Tróia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 34 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Didi Tróia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Didi Tróia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Luis Andino got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-2. 41 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Didi Tróia was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. 46 minutes into the game, Luis Andino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Batista in the 62nd minute of the match. Didi Tróia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Saelices in the 66th minute. In the 72nd minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Luís Batista in the 76th minute of the match. With a little luck, ContraVersão's Didi Tróia got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
