After having played for 30 minutes, Damiano Strazzabosco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Mims's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damiano Strazzabosco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Attilio Fiordelisi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Alberto Tafalla was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the game's 38th minute Mexico's Joel Gaona took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Attilio Fiordelisi and thus the score was 0-1. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 48th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Macos Graciani to maneuver through the defense. The FC Mims players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mexico's Joel Gaona got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Attilio Fiordelisi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 54th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damiano Strazzabosco in the 57th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Fortunato Froněk had to leave the field with a concussion. FC Mims's Enrico Improta was substituted for Elia Panella. In the 66th minute, Alberto Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Attilio Fiordelisi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77th match minute, FC Mims was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fedele Carnevale to maneuver through the defense. Attilio Fiordelisi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Frank Di Meo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Attilio Fiordelisi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 91st minute of play. Mexico were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing FC Mims to leave the ground with a draw.
