Tansel Akyol's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tansel Akyol helped the player get up and apologised. Ecuador's Diego Mancebo was substituted for Felix Montenegro. Tansel Akyol hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 7th minute of play forced Lavindsgaarde FC's goalkeeper Anders Havreland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anders Havreland saved Lavindsgaarde FC from getting behind. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lavindsgaarde FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. A very nice done corner allowed Felix Montes to score against Anders Havreland in Lavindsgaarde FC's goal. 0-1 after 12 minutes. If Gotfred Leismann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Lavindsgaarde FC's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anders Havreland came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Zorita scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anders Havreland, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Anders Havreland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Sebastián Puig in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute of the match Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anders Havreland showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 34th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Havreland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Havreland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gotfred Leismann got free with Julio Vera in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anders Havreland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andy Klaastad hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gotfred Leismann was the one to do the kick off. Gotfred Leismann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gotfred Leismann in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th minute Gotfred Leismann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Gotfred Leismann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 68th minute, Eg Flensburg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, Cristian Sancho fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Anders Havreland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lavritz Sommur in the 79th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Anders Havreland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anders Havreland read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. The Lavindsgaarde FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
