Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Okan Albayrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute, Silvestre Chuan made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Rigoberto Mina helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Venezuela fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! Jonathan Ferrant had in the 25thth minute some difficulties stopping Zenon Gongola's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 25th minute, Zenon Gongola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salvador Gisbert during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. ☾★ ғc çι̇çεк∂αğι ☾★ made a substitution. Hayri Cansever replaced Cezmi Toralp. In the 29th minute, Salvador Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 32 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. After having played for 33 minutes, Zenon Gongola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ☾★ ғc çι̇çεк∂αğι ☾★'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Zenon Gongola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tayyip Nuh in the 35th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tayyip Nuh took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. A throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game was made by Tarkan Malgır with Hayri Cansever as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 45 minutes into the match, ☾★ ғc çι̇çεк∂αğι ☾★'s Ferhan Yiğitkan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferhan Yiğitkan made a kick off. Ferhan Yiğitkan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The Venezuela fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 58 minutes, Mai Shi Zheng managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ☾★ ғc çι̇çεк∂αğι ☾★'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Mai Shi Zheng was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62ndth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ☾★ ғc çι̇çεк∂αğι ☾★'s Yağız Gazzali was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
