Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jaime Pardo kicked off to start the match. Eusébio Siqueira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Jacobo Nores skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Patrick Gomes's late challenge caught a Paraguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrick Gomes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st match minute, Irreal Madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Gomes to maneuver through the defense. If Hector Covarrubias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Secco in the 28th minute of play. Jacobo Nores made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Alfredo Secco sent off a good shot on target. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredo Secco went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 42 minutes into the game, Diogo Matos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Irreal Madrid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paraguay the free kick. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Irreal Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogo Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hector Covarrubias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Noel Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Paraguay from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfredo Secco was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Alfredo Secco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Irreal Madrid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Secco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Irreal Madrid's Diogo Matos got a free kick in the 54th minute. 58 minutes into the game, Primitivo Escribano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paraguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Irreal Madrid the free kick. Noel Braga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 61st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Irreal Madrid's Alfredo Secco got a free kick in the 63rd minute. During the 65th minute of the match Patrick Gomes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Patrick Gomes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Eusébio Siqueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 69 minutes of play, Irreal Madrid's Rodolfo Trigo made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Nores was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Eusébio Siqueira put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jacobo Nores. Irreal Madrid's Leo Bernard was substituted for Eusébio Siqueira. 78 minutes into the match, Leo Bernard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leo Bernard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Leo Bernard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Alan Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Leo Bernard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Xavier Zoido got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The audience was convinced that Leo Bernard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Primitivo Escribano got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Irreal Madrid's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
