Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Illescas took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mats Abrahamsson hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After 7 minutes, Rasmus Willig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mosh Pit and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mosh Pit's Rasmus Willig got a free kick in the 7th minute. Charles Kristiansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 13th minute of play. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sune Kleen got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Charles Kristiansson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Charles Kristiansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Falck in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Ivan Falck tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 35 played minutes Mosh Pit got a freekick which was hit by Rasmus Willig. Sven Låsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Låsberg in the 45th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. Mosh Pit's Ragnar Sjödin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 47th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Venezuela. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

53 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charles Kristiansson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Falck in the 54th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Mosh Pit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Låsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rasmus Willig hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Falck in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mats Abrahamsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 95 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mosh Pit had played much better football throughout.
