In the 10th minute, Matheus Dionísio made a precise shot to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Alfredo Secco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camilo Freixa having to make a save. Camilo Freixa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredo Secco went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of Irreal Madrid booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Fernandino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Bolivia defense, Eusébio Siqueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Freixa. The Bolivia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Freixa should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Secco in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Camilo Freixa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joshua Miralles hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Trigo in the 30th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Benito Madrid. After 32 played minutes, Irreal Madrid's Matheus Dionísio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Camilo Freixa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Irreal Madrid reached it. In the 33rd minute Alfredo Secco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Bolivia defense, Matheus Dionísio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Freixa. The Bolivia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Freixa should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Alejandro Villa got a free kick in the 41st minute. Alfredo Secco scored 0-7 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Freixa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Secco, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mario Fernandino to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute of the match, Alfredo Secco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Camilo Freixa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Matheus Dionísio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Freixa having to interfere. Camilo Freixa made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Alfredo Secco sent off a good shot on target. 61 minutes into the game, Irreal Madrid's Rodolfo Trigo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camilo Freixa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Secco, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Secco in the 69th minute of play forced Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredo Secco. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Secco in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Camilo Freixa saved Bolivia from getting behind. In the 82nd match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso de la Cruz to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Bolivia booed when Irreal Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remo Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Alfredo Secco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Irreal Madrid's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Secco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Freixa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jaime Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Irreal Madrid's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
