Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Nanov fc's Marin Luican played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 7th minute of play. Costel Gugulanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marin Luican was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. When Costel Gugulanu came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Nanov fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costel Gugulanu couldn't finish the play. Horea Lăzăroiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Costel Gugulanu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lautaro Navarro, passed just outside the right post. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costel Gugulanu in the 27th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Ivan Navarro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nanov fc the free kick. The supporters of Nanov fc booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Felix Hosu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Felix Hosu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Edmundo Espiga sped through Nanov fc's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marin Luican. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. Horea Lăzăroiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 53 played minutes Nanov fc got a freekick which was hit by Călin Vochin. 55 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Hosu came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marin Luican saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmundo Espiga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Marin Luican when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Costel Gugulanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 71st minute of play forced Nanov fc's goalkeeper Marin Luican to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nanov fc's Marin Luican was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a free kick in the 84th minute. Moises Tafalla hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the game, Milagros Cabal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nanov fc the free kick. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marin Luican having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 90th minute of play forced Nanov fc's goalkeeper Marin Luican to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Sebastian Villa fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 94th minute, Edmundo Espiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Costel Gugulanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Honduras's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
