The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 15th minute, 武光星 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Encarale a la gordita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Pedrinho Falconetti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. 32 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 武光星. In the 34th minute, Pedrinho Falconetti made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by 武光星 in the 41st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

Encarale a la gordita's Herman Lindholm was substituted for Ildefonso Bernabel. Paulino Senon hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Jurand Sienkowski put it in 7-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant.
