Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A hard shot 3 in the game by Elmar Loorits from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Kopli's goalkeeper Joakim Vennerström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 8th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Salvador Gisbert almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Kopli's Joakim Vennerström did a great save. In the 12th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Vennerström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Kopli's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. After 14 minutes FC Kopli's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the game, Roomet Käbin threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 26th minute, FC Kopli's Elmar Loorits ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 31st minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Vennerström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 34 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elmar Loorits could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Camilo Gaos charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Gaos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Madis Ratas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aivar Kalde made in the 43rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Pankracy Sochacki however managed to control. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elmar Loorits, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 48th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elmar Loorits's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Roomet Käbin made in the 58th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Alex Chicote. In the 60th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th match minute, FC Kopli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roomet Käbin to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Kopli's Elmar Loorits. But to his dismay, Elmar Loorits quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 75th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Venezuela's Tomas Illescas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joakim Vennerström. That made the score 2-1 after 80 minutes of play. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joakim Vennerström having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Salvador Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute, Elmar Loorits made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 95th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Vennerström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
