Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ivan Falck started the match with the kick off. Ivan Falck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. After 5 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. When Sven Låsberg fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mosh Pit's protests and gave Sven Låsberg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mosh Pit getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Sven Låsberg hit a great ball. Charles Kristiansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 14th minute. Jonathan Ferrant was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ragnar Sjödin. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Charles Kristiansson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Charles Kristiansson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to Mosh Pit getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Rasmus Willig hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jens-Ove Hultstrand during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Mosh Pit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Ove Hultstrand didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Falck who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ivan Falck had several of the Venezuela's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 23 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Jonathan Ferrant as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ivan Falck who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Charles Kristiansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Falck in the 45th minute. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Sune Kleen tried to sneak it across the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Falck in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Patricio Costa's late challenge caught a Mosh Pit's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. After 58 played minutes, Mosh Pit's Ragnar Sjödin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mosh Pit reached it. Mosh Pit's Charles Kristiansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joshua Secada in the 67th minute of play. If Jan-Olof Löv had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute Ivan Falck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Låsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mosh Pit! Charles Kristiansson had in the 85thth minute some difficulties stopping Tomas Illescas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. During the 95th minute of the match Mats Abrahamsson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mats Abrahamsson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 96 played minutes Mosh Pit got a freekick which was hit by Mats Abrahamsson. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mosh Pit.
