Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Seco in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angel Xabel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Sérgio Aguero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mincho Shahanov during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Uruguay booed when POSSE 1911 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mincho Shahanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind POSSE 1911 FC's goalkeeper Angel Xabel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The POSSE 1911 FC fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when POSSE 1911 FC's Sérgio Aguero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. POSSE 1911 FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavi Guardiola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. POSSE 1911 FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
