FC Philotimo's Vitomir Vutov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Fuentes in the 20th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Vitomir Vutov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to FC Philotimo getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Efrain Fuentes hit a great ball. Vitomir Vutov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Peru were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Efrain Fuentes made a kick off. In the 56th minute Efrain Fuentes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alan Tutorskiy hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. FC Philotimo's Alejandro Chorache was substituted for Edgard Donzel. FC Philotimo made a substitution. Fabian Vime replaced Xeromo Garibay. After 62 played minutes FC Philotimo got a freekick which was hit by Alan Tutorskiy. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Aryakumara Snow sped through Peru's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The throw-in from Didiet Suprianto in the 70th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Stig-Arne Valler kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vitomir Vutov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru's Alonso Berganza managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Didiet Suprianto in the 85 minute of the game. Vitomir Vutov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. With a little luck, FC Philotimo's Vitomir Vutov got control of the ball when Rafael Gallo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Aryakumara Snow kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. In the 96th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonso Berganza to maneuver through the defense. The FC Philotimo support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
