Despite this Jaroslaw Bako quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Valentin Lain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gustaw Czerny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaroslaw Bako showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 13th minute of the match. A collision led to Penny lane F.C getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Nicolas Otamendi hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Penny lane F.C's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaroslaw Bako came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaroslaw Bako having to interfere. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuel Jonsson in the 27th minute. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Samuel Jonsson sent off a good shot on target. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Otamendi got free with Julio Vera in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Lain in the 41st minute of play. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaroslaw Bako having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Penny lane F.C's Arnoldo Cebo got a free kick in the 45th minute. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Penny lane F.C's goalie prevented a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Valentin Lain made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Valentin Lain made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Jonsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 78th minute of the match, Cristian Sancho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jaroslaw Bako saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jaroslaw Bako in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Jonsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaroslaw Bako made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 87th minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaroslaw Bako showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 95th minute of the match.
