Cadman 赵云's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. After 17 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Kevin Mastache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Cadman 赵云 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Colombia had won after a very even match.
