Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. After 10 minutes, Tomas Illescas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Defensores del Tiki Tiki players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Atilla Bumin Hızlan. But to his dismay, Atilla Bumin Hızlan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Atilla Bumin Hızlan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 16th minute, Atilla Bumin Hızlan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 3-0. Gianluigi Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 20th minute of the match. Atilla Bumin Hızlan succeeded in the game's 22nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. 26 minutes in the game Valentin Galo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sergey Nikiforenko. The crowd rose to their feet as Jesús Martín kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 5-0 in the 27 minute of play. Venezuela's Guillermo Espina was substituted for Rigoberto Mina. In the 33rd minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 37 in the game by Atilla Bumin Hızlan from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. A throw-in in the 41st minute of the game was made by Valentin Galo with Sergey Nikiforenko as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergey Nikiforenko got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Atilla Bumin Hızlan to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Atilla Bumin Hızlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Atilla Bumin Hızlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jose Correa charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Correa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Defensores del Tiki Tiki booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atilla Bumin Hızlan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atilla Bumin Hızlan in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After 70 minutes, Jonathan Venegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Defensores del Tiki Tiki players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 71 minutes, Atilla Bumin Hızlan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atilla Bumin Hızlan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergey Nikiforenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atilla Bumin Hızlan struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores del Tiki Tiki. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Bernát Szuper was substituted for Sergey Nikiforenko. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilla Bumin Hızlan in the 76th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Atilla Bumin Hızlan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Atilla Bumin Hızlan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. After 80 minutes of play, Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Bernát Szuper made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Defensores del Tiki Tiki made a substitution. Hampus Nordström replaced Atilla Bumin Hızlan. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gianluigi Buffon having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Orlando Lucian got a free kick in the 94th minute.
