After 9 minutes, Rocco Owen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curacao and the Grox Team F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Rocco Owen hit a great ball. Alonzo Bemabe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Davies in the 12th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romeo Elorri in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Barrett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ambrosio Elazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Curacao's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Thomas came free, but Bruno Barrett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Elorri in the 28th minute of the match. After 29 minutes of play, Grox Team F.C.'s Romeo Elorri made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 33rd minute Romeo Elorri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th match minute, Curacao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Troy Kennedy to maneuver through the defense. Romeo Elorri struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Bruno Barrett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grox Team F.C.. 43 minutes into the game, Romeo Elorri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Bruno Barrett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 46 minutes, Romeo Elorri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grox Team F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeo Elorri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo Thomas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kyle Davies to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 65th minute of the match, Romeo Elorri tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bruno Barrett saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Elorri in the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rdth minute of the game Ambrosio Elazar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curacao's Bruno Barrett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 75th minute Ambrosio Elazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Curacao's Bruno Barrett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Curacao from getting a goal against them. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Elorri in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Grox Team F.C.'s Romeo Elorri ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bruno Barrett. Bruno Barrett yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Paulo Thomas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Bruno Barrett when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Grox Team F.C. played a much better game than Curacao and deserved their victory. The Curacao players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
