AKHisaR's Baran Alp Kose quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mateo Leguizamo, made in the 5th minute of the game. With a little luck, El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita got control of the ball when Lefter Demirbaş tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valentino Ferrant hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the AKHisaR defense, Valentino Ferrant kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erol Özyurek. The AKHisaR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erol Özyurek should have stopped the shot. Erol Özyurek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Magrina went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 22 minutes into the game, Valentino Ferrant cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Erol Özyurek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 28 minutes into the game, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erol Özyurek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. 31 minutes into the match, AKHisaR's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Luque came free, but Erol Özyurek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erol Özyurek came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by El Salvador's Moises Fernandino. But to his dismay, Moises Fernandino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 35 minutes into the match, AKHisaR's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Luque came free, but Erol Özyurek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 minutes of play, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erol Özyurek was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erol Özyurek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Luque in the 43rd minute of play. Erol Özyurek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marco Tamayo went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. The AKHisaR players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. El Salvador were winning 0-7.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lefter Demirbaş was the one to do the kick off. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lefter Demirbaş in the 54th minute of play. Moises Fernandino's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Erol Özyurek skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Erol Özyurek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moises Fernandino in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Luque in the 62nd minute of play forced AKHisaR's goalkeeper Erol Özyurek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Moises Fernandino could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Erol Özyurek however easily saved by the left post. Erol Özyurek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moises Fernandino in the 68th minute. 73 minutes into the match, AKHisaR's goalkeeper Erol Özyurek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Tamayo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Fernandino got free with Erol Özyurek in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind AKHisaR's goalkeeper Erol Özyurek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, AKHisaR's goalkeeper Erol Özyurek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moises Fernandino. If Lefter Demirbaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 91 minutes into the game, when Lefter Demirbaş put in a rough tackle. The goalkeeper, Erol Özyurek, was totally fooled by El Salvador's Mateo Leguizamo, who 95 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. El Salvador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
