The audience was convinced that Eloy Dubardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 20th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Llope saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jesus Llope showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after BARRILETE COSMICO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BARRILETE COSMICO made a substitution. Marcin Najman replaced Justino Abaurre. A nice corner shot did that Juan Sebastián Puig got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jesus Llope quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The corner went over the outstretched arms of BARRILETE COSMICO's goalie and right to Felix Montenegro. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. BARRILETE COSMICO's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Jesus Llope made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 92nd minute. Jesus Llope made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. The BARRILETE COSMICO fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
