The audience was convinced that Anatoli Filov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Barrett was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tervel Dushanov in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Barrett saved Curacao from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kyle Davies to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, EW® Leeds's Anatoli Filov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bruno Barrett. A collision led to Curacao getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Stanley Wallace hit a great ball. In the 68th minute Tervel Dushanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. From close distance Tervel Dushanov pressed in the 0-13 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 87 minutes into the game. In the 91st minute, Anatoli Filov made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-14. Bruno Barrett was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tervel Dushanov showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-15 in the 94 minute of play.
