In the 20th minute of the match, Monty Rogers tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luis Täger saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atahan Balyemez in the 26th minute of play. Luis Täger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Froilan Reyes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of USA's Marco Day. Marco Day was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luis Täger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Lionel-Andrés Messi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 42 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Moore. After a rather tough play, Parque Europa FC's Froilan Reyes got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Reyes in the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cassius Byrne made a kick off. Raphael Moore made in the 54th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Parque Europa FC's Samuel Ryynänen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 55th minute of play forced Parque Europa FC's goalkeeper Luis Täger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rogelio Mendiola got free with Marco Day in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. After 91 minutes Parque Europa FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jenson Smith who took care of the corner kick. Luis Täger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khalid Parry in the 94th minute of play. Rogelio Mendiola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. When the final whistle went the supporters of Parque Europa FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant USA side.
