Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lacasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robertinho Carabajal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thiago Pliego having to make a save. AFC Koolkerke's attentive 庄剑响 managed to snatch the ball when Felix Garrido made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the match, AFC Koolkerke's Joseph Smits sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. AFC Koolkerke's 庄剑响 managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Felix Garrido in the 19 minute of the game. AFC Koolkerke's Ulises Steven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 22nd minute of play. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by AFC Koolkerke's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Mariano Lacasa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AFC Koolkerke's Ulises Steven did a great save. Robertinho Carabajal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Felix Garrido made in the 30th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AFC Koolkerke's 庄剑响. In the 36th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Steven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Mariano Lacasa made the kick off in the second half. AFC Koolkerke's Ulises Steven proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save AFC Koolkerke from getting a goal against them. Ulises Steven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Smits came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robertinho Carabajal in the 62nd minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 minutes of play, AFC Koolkerke's Robertinho Carabajal made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 66th minute Joseph Smits shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robertinho Carabajal in the 71st minute of play. When Joseph Smits came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the AFC Koolkerke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joseph Smits couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Ulises Steven in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The throw-in from Fabrizio Di Muzio in the 84th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Chile's Felix Garrido. Ulises Steven made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 90th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ulises Steven. AFC Koolkerke's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.
