With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. Christoffer Blomqvist's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Marco Day skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Monty Rogers took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Prior. Angelo Prior dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Corredor in the 17th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Prior saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Prior made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 24th minute of play. With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Christoffer Blomqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Corredor came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, MILLONARIOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Angelo Prior reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelo Prior took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Monty Rogers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 33rd minute of play forced MILLONARIOS FC's goalkeeper Angelo Prior to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Jauregui got free with Marco Day in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. MILLONARIOS FC were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after USA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rafael Jauregui took the corner. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Corredor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the game, USA's Monty Rogers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelo Prior made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. MILLONARIOS FC's Juan Corredor got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cassius Byrne made a kick off. USA's Cassius Byrne got a good chance for a goal in the 50th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Prior saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boris Van Acker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marco Day didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Corredor went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Angelo Prior made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 68th minute of play. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Corredor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When MILLONARIOS FC's Juan Corredor in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye USA's goalie prevented a goal. Cassius Byrne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Prior read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Prior saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Prior stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Monty Rogers's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. If Juan Corredor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. Angelo Prior showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Khalid Parry in the 90th minute of the match. Marco Bakers short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Angelo Prior to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, MILLONARIOS FC's Leonel Cantera got a free kick in the 94th minute. USA played a much better game than MILLONARIOS FC and deserved their victory. The MILLONARIOS FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
