After having played for 38 minutes, Alvaro Sforza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Roma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Sforza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Alvaro Sforza sent off a good shot on target. A throw-in in the 76th minute of the game was made by Alvaro Sforza with Armin Ascenzi as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Javier Della Francesca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
