Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita made the kick off and thus started the match. MK Investments's Peter Oldenborger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save MK Investments from getting a goal against them. The supporters of MK Investments booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peter Oldenborger made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. In the 11th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Peter Oldenborger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 15th minute of play. With a little luck, MK Investments's Peter Oldenborger got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Peter Oldenborger in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the game, MK Investments's Waclaw Poremba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Peter Oldenborger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waclaw Poremba in the 36th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Peter Oldenborger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Oldenborger having to interfere. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Peter Oldenborger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastiaan Middeljans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Domenik Hoffhuis got free with Julio Vera in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. MK Investments's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Peter Oldenborger quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Luis Andino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Peter Oldenborger. MK Investments's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Andino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 75th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. MK Investments's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Peter Oldenborger quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Juan Sebastián Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MK Investments were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sebastiaan Middeljans took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Olaf Degens got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 87 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastiaan Middeljans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Ecuador walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
